Now in its third year, the Mobile Merit Awards recognizes companies, individuals and technologies that have shaped the way in which the world communicates today. Through nominations the Mobile Merit Awards notes the excellence achieved in the global mobile industry. These annual awards will be presented to outstanding companies, individuals and technologies from each sector within the mobile arena for work of the greatest likely impact on the market. The Awards will be announced on April 20, 2012 with each category winner receiving a digital graphic ribbon and formal press release distribution. Nominations deadline is March 26, 2012.

The Mobile Merit Awards submissions will be judged on industry impact, innovation, technologies, social importance, implementation and overall success factor. The submission categories cover all aspects of mobility including: devices, infrastructure, applications, social/digital medium, 4G technologies, mobile marketing, media and more.
